    Abstract

This project looks at the how the industry views CG technology along with an investigation into whether or not this technology can or should replace traditional methods of filming. Several directors are interviewed for their responses to a series of questions; some of these interviews are conducted face to face and others via email. From these interviews, the results are drawn that CG technology should not replace traditional film making but should complement it in order to reduce the costs of film production enabling more on location filming to be possible.
