    Abstract

    This dissertation is a glimpse into sustainable housing design and living methods of today's world. It discusses sustainable design with reference to two homes that practice sustainable living comparing common factors and design trends also addressing future prospects. It stresses the discovered importance of sustainable thinking, technologies and actions the UK Government and designers strive for. I hope this dissertation will give an insight in to the current developments of sustainability in the UK and the homes dedicated to an eco-friendly lifestyle.
