    Abstract

The following report is an investigation into the factors affecting the value and success of golf clubs in the UK. It explores the growth of golf around the world, considering how the rise of golf has been a catalyst for the building of new courses and increase of new players. The report investigates golf club members' views on their own golf courses and the views of the golf courses themselves. With the information from these sources it examines how certain clubs could become more successful and how they became successful to begin with. The report explores what features of a golf club appeal to golfers of all ages and it determines the factors that will most affect the clubs value.
