    Abstract

    Urbanisation has significantly grow align with modernisation. It improves a modern living and rapid development globally. Behind these human activities that promised to have an improvement in the style of living, there is an important aspect that we always take for granted; the nature.
    Flooding has been widely spread and increased annually from all over the world, that caused by urbanisation. As areas of vegetation in the nature living are replaced by manmade structures, the area loses its ability to act naturally by absorbing the rainwater. This rainfall is instead move into the surface water drainage systems, often overloading and therefore causing floods.
    Sustainable Drainage Systems have rapidly growing attention in recent years to act as an emerging solution to these problems, as a result of its positive feedbacks on water quantity and quality, as well as enhancing public amenities and biodiversity perceived in the urban development.
