    Abstract

    This paper focuses on the barriers of adoption of BIM in the real estate services sector. It shows the importance of adopting BIM in the real estate sector and the barriers in adopting it. Besides that, it also looks in to ways to overcome the issues and ways of implementing BIM technologies in the real estate sector.
    The research approach adopted in this dissertation includes quantitative primary and secondary methods, questionnaire are done anonymously, however it is only open to individuals working in the real estate sector. It seeks the opinion of the participants on the advantages, likelihood and their view in BIM technologies.
    The findings from the research would show the possible adoption, barriers and likelihood of BIM being used in the real estate sector.
