    Abstract

    This project looked into the live TV production procedures and standards in the United Kingdom by using various documents that provided precise technical information which is used by broadcasters such as BBC, BT Sport, Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV, Sky, S4C and TG4 and looks into the areas of live television production being conducted at CCI TV. It included a survey for television audiences in Bahrain in order to find the views of the audiences. This project also looked into historical information of television in the United Kingdom which helped in the evolvement of television which is seen today and also looked into the history how television evolved in the Arab Middle East. The project also looked at live programming broadcasted on Bahrain TV to discuss some of the issues found in live television broadcasting, in order to improve and also introduce some technical and creative elements of live television production which are not found in television in Arab countries.
