    Abstract

CGI features a wide range of talents and areas of work, ranging from modelling and textures, to animation and lighting, and often requires a full team of talented individuals to bring a full feature production to life.
This project aims to look closely at the various stages of this work, when aimed towards capturing a stylised visual appearance, branching out further than specifically animation by developing a recreation of the opening cut scene from Brace Yourself Game's video game release title "Crypt of the Necrodancer" from its original 2D representation and creating a 3D rendition capturing its art style and visuals.
During the development of this project, I will investigate the techniques and research behind 3D stylisation, as well as film and game development, pipelines, processes, progression and collaboration between various stages and departments.
