    Abstract

Radio has changed and improved significantly since it began. These changes will be analysed and explored in two separate sections to build up a definitive conclusion of the changes and a prediction on the future of radio. These sections will explore the role radio has in society, how 18-25 year olds are consuming radio and why and also how the changing technologies and platforms in radio are having an effect on listeners.
A questionnaire for 18-25 year olds and an interview with a radio professional have been conducted, and these results will help determine the ever changing innovations of radio and will be used as evidence in finding the activity of radio listening.
