    Abstract

This study will explore the evolution of camera technology in Television Newsrooms, through interviews with industry experts, a survey and secondary research. It will include an in-depth investigation of how camera technology has developed from the past to present, and whether the changes that have been made are significant towards the production of a television broadcast. The project will also discuss whether presenter and camera operators’ roles are becoming obsolete due the significant changes and demands of the television industry. Finally, it will consider how advancements in camera technology in a Television Newsroom could develop, and be realised in the future.
