    Abstract

An exploratory paper about differing techniques and fundamental similarities and differences between the two disciplines, with an attempt at using musique concrète for acoustic ecological pieces. Contextually related issues such as remix theory and the changing of the definition of music over time are outlined, as well as speculation into the future of the practices.
