    Abstract

Creating real-time ready environment art assets for a AAA Sci-Fi game in development at the University of Portsmouth. Working with the Unreal Engine 4 and 3D modelling/development tools that are available to me as a University student. The creation of environment assets followed a workflow and creation pipeline that I have practiced during my placement year while developing for Unreal Engine. My work was critiqued by the client and the direction of the art was guided by meetings with the client throughout this project. The process of working with a client has been documented in this report and I reflected on the process of working on the art to meet the requirements of my client. As the artwork changed frequently between meetings, the quality of the artefact overall is determined by the success of meeting the client’s requirements for the artwork at the end of the project. The methodology of the project was improved by researching industry standard project planning methodologies.
