    Abstract

    This paper aims to consider the techniques used within the games industry to create effective music and sound effects for games. Key methods have been explored and applied in the creation original music and sound design for an action-adventure game in a client-based project. Client feedback confirmed that the methods used were effective in creating successful sound and music and that the research conducted was effective in informing appropriate creative decisions.
