    Abstract

This project is centred on Archive Workflow, a library of collected media, and the process in which one can be established. An archive workflow for the University’s Creative and Cultural Industry TV Channel shall be created and implemented, collecting both finished inserts produced by Third Year Television and Broadcasting students and cutaways that can be reused in the future from the insert rushes. Before implementation research was undertaken showing the variety and differences within an archive workflow in order to aid in the creation of said workflow that will fit the needs of the CCI TV channel. Archive workflow from industry practices shall be compared to generate a greater understanding of the issues and solutions within an archive workflow. This information will then be used to scrutinise and adapt the implemented workflow making it more fluid and specialised. Through the use of industry standard equipment and industry guidelines the workflow aims to emulate a professional environment.
