    Abstract

    “Portsmouth city guide mobile application” is a city guide iPhone application that includes a detailed map, points of interest, and other information about Portsmouth, enabling a user to easily locate places and find their way around the city.
    The project explores various enabling technologies, concepts and software development life cycle essential to building a city guide application, and researches the shortcomings of similar system. The research informed the requirements, which led to the design and implementation of the artefact. Incremental methodology was used in developing the application. The artefact was tested and evaluated to ensure the project met its objective, the result shows the project is a success. The entire development process is document in the project report.
