    Abstract

    This dissertation is about evaluating the 3D printing maintenance process and comparing it to the traditional maintenance process. A critical review of the literature is structured under Chapter 2: Literature Review. One company has been extracted in the above chapter and used in a interview to gather information on the process used to carry out a maintenance job and analyse the maintenance process. The interview showed information regarding the process that the company uses, the suppliers and the processes used to acquire the supplies, the possibilities of improvement in the maintenance process and the possibility of using 3D printing in maintenance and the process produced from that. Given that information, it is best to look into the transfer of the traditional maintenance process into a 3D printing maintenance process in order to improve the maintenance company.
