    Abstract

This project investigates the impact that Twitter has had on sports broadcasting. It focuses on the user, and how the users are utilizing Twitter throughout live football and sport broadcasts. In order to focus on the user, it is important to focus on the output of broadcasters and how they are developing the experience. The project uses mixed methods and looks at the relationship between the user, Twitter, and broadcasting developments for the second screen.
