    Abstract

Infrared thermography, thermal imaging and thermal video are examples of infrared imaging science. Thermographic cameras can detect radiation in the infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum and produce images of that radiation, thermograms. This report looks at the thermography techniques and comments on the applications of such technologies in wildlife conservation and veterinary science.
