    Abstract

With Unmanned Aircrafts (UA) becoming increasingly popular for commercial and recreational use, the legislation surrounding these vehicles is becoming outdated and the public is showing increased concerns over their possible commercial implementation. This study involves Primary research through questionnaires to gain a better understanding of the public’s views on UA’s; for their own personal use as well as others recreational and commercial uses. With secondary research to analyse companies and professionals views on current legislation, as well as press releases from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on UA’s. It concludes with solutions for safe implementation as well as why the public’s views on UA’s may be misguided.
