    Abstract

    This study focuses on the field of Forensic Entomology through its historical context to the present, including advancements made throughout the field. From looking at the developments throughout the years there are noticeable themes and rationale behind all the studies that have been conducted. Whether that is due to the advancement of understanding the effect of the insects that are present on a body or the different species that are found. However this has therefore led to the gap in research and has allowed for this study and has allowed for this study to be conducted.
