    Abstract

This report looks into the student’s water demand and the impact on Portsmouth Water supply network. The target through primary and secondary research is to see how student water consumption differs to domestic water consumption. Whilst also finding how student water demand varies on a daily basis, and how this affects Portsmouth Water. Additionally investigating how student water usage can be reduced. The findings showed that student water demand is similar to domestic water consumption, however the demand profile is vastly different. The report also found a significant reduction in water usage was possible if efficient components were installed and students were made more aware of their habits.
