    Abstract

    This piece of research documents the highly adaptive methodology devised and implemented by the author in a relatively uncharted field of research. It provides the relevant background information along with the recipes to fabricate, and the testing procedure with which to undertake a direct tensile test on a series of ultra-high-performance-fibre-reinforced-concrete prisms.
    The painstakingly adaptive work of formulating a viable methodology, coming up against many pit-falls along the way, has allowed for this research to not only provide substantiated tensile strength readings sufficient to confirm many of the hypotheses, but also to provide a great deal of information into how to further improve almost every aspect of the research for future investigations.
