    Abstract

This paper looks at the development and documentation of a Geolocation application designed to provide an in-depth analysis of Twitter’s location information. The aim was to provide a centralised source for analysis of all location information relating to a given user’s Twitter followers, other Twitter user’s followers and your Tweet information. The applications achieved this by utilising the Twitter, Google Maps and Google Charts API to process and present this information in a web application format. The findings highlight an analytical discussion of the application, future developments and proposed research based on the functionality developed.
