    Abstract

The Offshore Wind Developers Forum have identified that the UK supply chain is not performing as well as it could be to benefit from UK offshore wind projects. Therefore the aim of this project is to investigate what actions need to be taken to ensure the UK offshore wind supply chain is ready for ‘Round 3’ and future projects. The solutions need to be feasible within the time scale of ‘Round 3’ allowing UK competences to benefit from it and install confidence within the supply chain. Identifying where the UK can perform better than its European rivals and targeting needs within the supply chain will be crucial to the solution.
