    Abstract

    A brief introduction to my study highlighting the following:
    • Why I deemed sitcom to be an accurate gauge of social mobility.
    • How the advancement of feminism can be used to measure social mobility in any given era,
    post-second world war, through the medium of sitcom.
    • How my research applies both to the UK and the US.
    • The significance of producing this analysis after the creative artefact.
