    Abstract

The University has implemented a new print network for the academic year 2012/2013; the aim of this project is to develop a solution that allows students to print from any device, any location, at a specified time to any University student printer. Aims and requirements were created to ensure that the solution would be successful. The literature review will look at the history of printing, as well as different types of print networks. The application was designed to provide a solution using JSF (JavaServer Faces). Many issues arose during implementation, but, through determination, these were solved. The application was thoroughly tested, using two testing methods to ensure that the application has full functionality of all features, and provides a positive user experience. The report concludes with personal reflections about the project from its start to its finish.
