    Abstract

Databases are becoming increasingly explored solutions for emerging membership organisations. In Databases come in various different sizes and forms and are used in almost every business sector as effective solutions for storing information and generating business reports. The Healthwatch organisation is emerging in 2013 and looking at databases to replace their current methods of holding personal information so that they can increase efficiency of data entry and focus more on what the organisation wants to achieve in its own goals. This report aims to explore the ways in which a database and membership front-end can be created for the Healthwatch organisation, bring all of their membership information to a centralised place and allowing users to interact with information stored in the database.
