    Abstract

With a growing interest for humanoid robots in schools, hospitals and other civil service positions, careful consideration must be taken in order to ensure seamless integration between humanoid robots and the general public. There has been research to suggest that some androids can cause discomfort in observers hindering their acceptance. This dissertation will identify the potential barriers of concern and evaluate a range of cutting edge technology to resolve these problems.
