    Abstract

This dissertation project aims to discover through the use of questionnaires, whether cultural differences in 2D female characters have an effect on which character and under what circumstances an individual would most likely want to be associated with them in. It will look into various literature of relating topics such as The Uncanny Valley, Audience Perception and Individual difference. In particular, this investigation will be looking at the famous characters Wonder Woman and Chun Li and relating them to different situations to see whether participants would prefer to be associated with them in particular situations and whether people of different ethnic backgrounds would choose the same character or not. The experiment will be in the form of a questionnaire, and results will be analyzed in the form of bar graphs.
