    Abstract

    The purpose of this study was to look at the issue of Brownfield development from the developer’s point of view. The intention of the study was to gauge Property developer’s views on the barriers to Brownfield development at local level. The basis of the study was the survey of 57 Property developers across all project sizes in Portsmouth. Through an examination of the wide range of barriers to development experienced by Property developers in Portsmouth, the results of this exploration reveal that that there is no barrier that can’t be overcome if there is money to be made.
